We’re very excited to share the photos from Nora and Edy’s luxury elopement in Paris from this past August. This couple was full of style and class and it was such a treat to arrange all of the special details for them!
Nora and Edy came to Paris from Indonesia for an intimate celebration before their big reception at home. Nora had studied music in Paris, and wanted to share her love of the city with her loved one in a romantic exchange of vows.
The couple had two different looks during the day: for the afternoon shoot, Nora wore a white satin dress with beautiful lace and detailing on the back and Edy was daytime chic in a suit, crisp white shirt and pocket square.
For the ceremony and dinner, they stepped out in full glamour: a princess style wedding dress with gold lace appliqués and jeweled belt for her, and white tie and tails for him. Both of Nora’s beautiful dresses were custom made especially for her!
A vintage Excalibur escorted the couple throughout the day and before heading to the ceremony, the couple visited several of Nora’s favorite places in Paris – a little walk down memory lane that she was able to share with her chéri. The couple chose a magnificent setting for the ceremony and private dinner and had the Hôtel Le Meurice’s Salon Pompadour all to themselves. The room was romantically decorated with white flowers and lit by soft candle light.
As they said their “I do’s” in front of the grande marble fireplace, Bach’s Partida in E Major – a piece full of symbolism for the couple – was playing in the background. They enjoyed a custom 6-course tasting menu created especially for them. For dessert? But of course a mini pièce montée from the one and only Ladurée!
